Claire Aho
Ooh la laa, this is something you should not miss: Claire Aho’s exhibtion at Kunsthalle Helsinki.
Rakastan noita värejä, jotka on yhtä aikaa hailukoita ja räikyvän kirkkaita. Surrealistiset asetelmat on parhautta, etenkin viimeinen pingviinikuva, joka saa ihan hulluksi! Niin siisti. Se on muuten näyttelyssä peilikuvana. Tämä tässä näyttää väärältä. Ahon muotikuvia katsoessa tulee kaiho fiilis: Ollapa ollut muotikuvaajana 60-luvulla! Kun alalla ei Suomessa ollut vielä konventioita ja erikoisemmatkin ideat on menneet läpi. Ahon kansikuvissa on samaa vapautta ja kekseliäisyyttä ja viattomuutta. Niitä lisää näyttelyssä.

Birds and stripes
Birds and stripes by Ann Craven at Galerie Forsblom til 3 April. The best colours and the best spring feeling for a while. No wonder I like her – look at her studio. Flowers, bright colours and kittens.
